How do I put a website on my desktop?

Instead of logging onto a site via google, how to put a site icon on my desktop for easier access?

    drag the icon beside the URL icon to the desktop

    Copy the web address of the site you want.

    On your desktop right click, however over new and select short-cut

    When it says where the location is just paste the link and name it what you want
