Can a unlocked verizon iphone 5 be used with tmobile?
I am thinking about getting an iphone 5 and it has to be unlocked because i'm with T-mobile. I know for sure you can use an unlocked att iphone with T-mobile but i'm not sure with Verizon? Anybody knows if you can use a T-mobile sim card on an unlocked Verizon iphone 5?

Why not just get the unlocked ones from Apple? It may work since the 5 is a dual GSM/CDMA phone but I think it would be safer with the Apple unlocked one.

Well, I would wait because T-Mobile will be getting the iPhone themselves shortly. This will allow you to use one that is not unlocked, if you so wish. In fact, T-Mobile is making an announcement today that is expected to include information about the iPhone.
Instead of getting a phone that has been unlocked from another carrier, I would really recommend you purchase one from Apple directly which is factory unlocked. In this manner you know it is a legitimate product and has not been reported lost/stolen. It will also have a warranty with it. I purchased mine in this way and use it on T-Mobile without any problems.
If you do want to use a phone that has been unlocked from another carrier, I do believe that if it is an iPhone 5 (not a previous model) that it can, indeed, be used on T-Mobile.

Of course, you can. Verizon iPhone 5 comes unlocked for any SIM.

you can do this, but I Would wait for t-mobile to get their own so you have 4g data. The process is the same for activating the phone though: http://cellphoneforums.net/t-mobile/t356507-use-t-...
