Ninja 300 mpg question?
So I just got a 300. The first fill(from the dealer)up got me 160 on a full tank. Then I filled up and on empty and only got 3.5 gallons in the tank. Now im 65 miles in and almost half a tank done. So my question is why am I getting low mpg and why is it only filling 3.5 when its suppose to hold 4.5. Also when I fill up the clicker stopped it but I was measuring the gallons also is it suppose to stop automatically?

I don't know HOW they figure tank size I bought 4 gal tanks for my Harley and they don't hold 4 gallons, also your bikes fuel economy is directly related to how hard you are accelerating, I know its fun to take off fast but that eats your fuel like crazy, when you fill up manually hold the gas and fill it slowly right up to the top, where you can see the fuel, by putting the gas nozzle in the tank with the automatic shut off ,that is for cars with a long fuel hose leading to the tank you are shorting your fuel, in the tank that maybe your problem,
