Navy SEAL research project?
Could I get some help with my project? I'm almost done, but I have no idea what to say next. Here is what I have done so far.
Navy SEALs
Hooyah! This is the war chant of the elite military force known as the Navy SEALs. Navy SEALs started out as a counter terrorism group, and were founded by President John F Kennedy. SEAL is an acronym standing for Sea, Air, and Land. These are the environments in which they work in, and usually succeed with silence and precision. They are known to enter a building, take or blow up anything they need, and get out with the enemy not knowing they were even there.
It’s awesome to live in this secrecy, but it comes with a price. BUD/s (Basic Underwater Demolition School) is known to be the toughest military boot camp. The class is now 6 months instead of two weeks during the Vietnam War and the Cold War. It now takes nearly two to three years to train a SEAL, and they never stop training or learning. There is a seventy-five percent failure rate; some classes have a higher chance of failing. The class, however, is eighty percent metal and twenty percent physical training. Thought BUD/s; instructors torture teamwork into everyone. They want you to become successful under pressure, and so that you’re able to rely on the team as well as the team relying on you. Then there’s a part of BUD/s called “Hell Week.” Candidates stay awake 20 hours or more in a day period for five days. This is where the most guys fail. This is just to weed out anyone who has any hint of quit in them. For those who don’t quit in the six month period, are able to call themselves SEALs and then move onto SQT. (SEAL Qualification Training)
Do the words commitment, courage, and bravery mean anything? SEALS live by these words every day. SEALs, nowadays, live in the motto “the only easy day was yesterday”. This is why they are the number one military force in the world. They have always taken on the toughest missions, but the missions are now more high-risk operations. Take the Osama Bin Laden mission known as Neptune’s Spear. Without the know-how of Seal Team 6, the whole mission would have been aborted and Osama would still be alive. There are only 2500 active SEALs, so they make up their numbers by out gunning the enemy. With saying that, SEALs during Vietnam had a kill/death ratio of 250:1. This means for every two hundred and fifty NVA (North Vietnamese Army) only one SEAL casualty would occur.
Thank you so much...I guess thats why they call it a research project. I guess one website I used was wrong.

Hey "P" could you just give me an answer. I found that kinda rude because you know nothing about me. I'm doing a paper on SEALs which was given to me by my teacher. I hear how all of these little boys have an "X-Box"...for I don't have one because it's a waste of time. Plus my parents won't let me have one, let alone play those kind of games. I don't know about you, but I consider my self very mature for my young age of 16. So if I could get your help for an important matter; that would be awesome. In the mean time though; I hope you become happier and may god bless you...Have a great day by they way.

First, apologies for the trash talkin' from the little boys who got their panties in a bunch over your request for help on a school project. The Navy SEALs need motivated alpha males who care enough to know what they are getting in to. No one expects you to know everything, but I give you credit for doing the research to try and learn more.
I don't have time to help you on your school project, but I can give you some excellent resource materials. If you have time, download the Kindle edition of Rorke's Denver's "Damn Few". He headed Basic and Advanced SEAL Training for many years and can help give you a perspective on how the SEALs training and missions evolved from the Vietnam War to today. And for first-rate books about what it's like on the other side of the training from other real SEAL operators and heroes, try "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell (who you can reach out to on Twitter) and American Sniper by Chris Kyle, who was killed just recently while helping to rehabilitate soldiers with PTSD.
Good luck on your project!

The Navy SEALs are a "frogman" kind of unit just like the British SBS. The Rangers are similar to commando light infantry like the British Royal Marine Commandos and the Australian Commandos. The SEALs are specialized for maritime operations, however are entirely equipped of running on land as good. The Rangers of their current state are predominantly a raiding drive, usually helicopter-borne, and capable of getting rid of extra closely defended pursuits like airfields. In phrases of fight approaches, there's as a rule no change between them - all of our SOFs study the same procedures for urban war, mountain battle, and so on. Nevertheless, i'd give an aspect to the Rangers in view that not like the SEALs, the Rangers are intended for, and knowledgeable completely for combat operations (which is why their formalized training program is greatly shorter), whilst the SEALs have a much wider range of duties that they need to hold up with, giving them much less time to price range for combat training. I still wouldn't send the Rangers to cozy a cargo ship, nor would I ship SEALs on an airborne raid to secure an airfield. Numerically talking, there are more individuals of the 75th Ranger Regiment by using a ratio of about three to 2, though a lot of the difference is as a result of help personnel.
