Find Derivative of Function?

f (y) = 3y / 1 - 5y

Answer ends up being 3 / (1 - 5y)^2

It's getting the 3 portion that I don't seem able to get to.

the three is because you first factor it out then move it to the front, because it is a constant. Take the derivative then place it back in that is why it is unchanged

    3dy/dt x/(1*5x)dt

    hope this helps
