Peaceful negotiations with North Korea? or imminent war (2013)?
I personally believe that a few things could happen...
1.) NK will sell a terrorist plotting against America, a nuclear weapon, thus the terrorist will cause a catastrophic event eventually leading the US to enact upon NK
2.) NK will attempt to invade SK with it's "superior" artillery, thus sending the US and NK into an almost immediate war
3.) NK will try to launch a nuclear weapon toward America, that we will most likely intercept, thus also taking the US into a war with NK
Any other idea of what may lead to this war? Will a war even happen, or could this situation be settled through peaceful negotiations?

No war-don't believe the hype...the PDRK's belligerence is related to its domestic situation. In order to prevent coup attempts and other plots the leadership likes to keep the nation in a state of self-induced crises. That way the generals are out in the field on exercises instead of in Pyongyang plotting. Therefore the best strategy is to just ignore them.

I think any talk half to B between the two Korea's, And the North got to Quit pushing for a fight. Artillery is a out dated weapon of war, so is manpower.

My scenario involves NK continuing to posture, the SK, and Japanese getting a bit more worried and China and the US sitting back in bemusement. Then nothing will happen.

how can you deal with a nutcase and his military advisers who have convinced the people of north korea that they are the most power-full military on this planet to such a degree that they now believe it themselves they also believe that they can attack America and defeat them with impunity and it is only going to end in one way as we all know and the sooner the better once the good people of north korea realise that they have been lied tol they will over throw the regime and things will get better ok.
