Political views of agnostics and athiests?

I am a 2nd generation atheist.

1. Live and let live!

2.Anything goes except for minors.

3. Kill only is defense against killing.

4. Print the money, use it for children and their parents, cut back before inflation.

5. Bush lied, people died.

6. Tax the rich until they are too poor to buy Congress.

7. GWB should have stuck with cheer-leading.

1.Gay marriage: cannot understand why it is needed.

2.Drug prohibition: Begone.

3.Death penalty: Makes sense in many instances

4.Spending and taxes for social programs (food stamps, medicare, medicaid etc.);: grossly out of line

5.War in Iraq.: Stupidly procesucted.

6.The idea of taxing the rich at a higher percentage than the middle class: OK to an extent

7. Opinion of George Bush jr.: Almost as big an asshole as 0dingus.

As the philosophy of Agnosticism is the personal philosophy of Thomas Huxley - no part of what he said has has any collective influence on current political issues. If you are Agnostic then you should have read enough about Huxley to know that.

If you were Agnostic at all you would not think that Atheist thought about God the way you do. At best you are an unsure non-believer. Just drop the Agnostic label until you know what Huxley said Agnosticism is.

6. Slightly agree with this, and no I don't hate the rich, I grew up in a rich family myself and most agree with the richest Americans paying higher income taxes than the poor and middle class.

you are trying to mix religion and politics.. and they don't mix.. There is only one thing you need to know.. the Christain bible is not the law of the land. Things like abortion and homosexuality are not permitted by the god in the Christian bible but both are allowed in america. hope that makes sense.
