survey::--do attachments makes death painful?

Attachments are always painful at any time in life. attachments are too much merged with expectations. Unfulfilled attachments and expectations are root cause of disturbances in our life till our soul departs.

So our Gita says through 2nd chapter, to get systemically, detached from expectations, to stabilize mind and after that you slowly progress towards getting knowledge about Almighty.

After all pains and pleasures too are results of attachments.

What kind of attachment?

If it is emotional attachment then yes of course it would be painful

If someone u love died, u will feel pain and if u die and leaving those u love of corz it hurts

But if the situation is like ur father's cousin's son which you never even jnew yet theres a family that attach you both then no..

Yes, attachments, desires& expectations are the root of sorrow & pain in this world. This is the core of Buddhist religion.

@ md you are right. Being a human being it is not possible for us to give up attachments.

I often remember the scene when Sita was kidnapped Ram went weeping in the forest searching for her.

But I also have the example of prince Siddharth who renounce his wife & son at the very young age.

Of course that is not the right path for every human being on earth. But he has shown how we can detach our selves from the material world while living in it.

If Our life on earth is like a lotus plant....

Root Attached to the ground but leaf is non stick....

Such attachment makes no pain.

weird u dnt feel attachment for anything....only a machine can live like this not a human.

for a human attachments r compulsory.it make us complete.

yes attachments make death painful.coz if u dnt love someone u dnt care u die or live...but if love someone u dnt want to die.coz u want to live with that person.bnut coz u'll be heelpless coz it's ur[not ur] time to die so u'll feel pain coz u wanna live but u cant.u hv to leave ur love ones and die.

SO YES ATTACHMENTS MAKE DEATH PAINFUL.
