David Milliband a wasted Political career?
If he was the Labour leader, ive no doubt my colours would have been well and truly switched by now.
This is no dream job, he cnnot handle his treacherous weasel of a Brother has destroyed his career!
The winner of the 2010 leadership election was guaranteed to be the next PM, he was the better man than Ed, better leader and politican, yet for Union yobs carrying Ed over the line, the country has to suffer!!
I think David can no longer live with what his brother has done and is really turning his back on him, disowning him and sadly having to go and brood in another country.
To think we will have this inept idiot Ed Milliband running the country in 2 years time!! (Still cant be worse than the coalition!!)
You have it wrong Bazza, The 2010 Labour leadership election was effectively a vote for PM, do you ever think anyone would vote Tory again after 5 years of Austerity, this country cannot handle it and cannot handle Cameron & Osbourne and co and some of the most repulsive policies ever created im ashamed to be a Tory and ripped up my membership ages ago!!
do you think David Milliband is going to sit back and applaud his brother on the steps of #10 in May 15 when rightly it should be him!!
Bollox!! im sorry but DM is a rare breed of decent Politician, there arent many of them around. He was sh*t on big time by his treacherous brother and his union thug gang!! End of!!

When this particular political episode is written it will come up along these lines.
He wanted to divorce the Labour Party's political thinking away from Blair and Brown agenda and forge a new identity.
Unfortunately for him he did not cultivate and incorporate the Trade Unions and the sinister Peter Mandelson into the scheme of events and so lost out to his brother Edward who was prepared to be directed by these named persons and organisations.
If you look at the Labour Party's Shadow Front Bench you will see in place the old Blair Brown rear guard such as Harriet Harman,Yvette Cooper, Edward Balls, Liam Byrne and many others.
David Miliband wanted to divorce himself from the losing Labour Party political thinking and refresh with new political talent and he paid the price.
At the end of the day. The piper always calls the tunes in politics and Trade Unions bank roll the Labour Party.

As Foreign Secretary Mr Milliband sanctioned the rendition flights by the FBI/ CIA. He also ushered in the Treaty of Luxembourg, but what else? He failed to capitalise on the resignation of James Purnell from the Brown Cabinet which could have toppled Brown and seen DM as leader, he failed to canvas enough support among sitting MP's for his leadership bid which would have negated his brother's bid and the Union block vote, and he failed to take out his brother while they were both running for leader. With judgement like that I for one am glad that we are spared him. I am no fan of Ed Milliband either. The next election will be interesting.

David who ??? What do you or we really know about him ?? NOTHING.
What does he stand for ?? Blair politics thats what. He is a Tory to the heart.
Ed Miliband won the leadership election because he was "left wing". Whether he is now is another question. I never saw anything particularly good about David Miliband. We need people with vision, principles, integrity. Not "men in suits" who look and behave like bankers.
Good riddance to David Miliband.
If he truly was a politician with the interests of the country and LABOUR policy's he would stay and support his brother.
Edit > He was a rare breed all right - he did a runner as soon as he saw his brother reach the top. You don't cling on to beliefs you have them ingrained and nothing should dissuade you from working at it. His short career took a little knock and wooosh off he goes on the money train - just what the UK needs - - - NOT !!!!!!!!!

Good riddance then, perhaps he'll be joining his daddy Blair on the after dinner speaches round in DC and places now he's off to the land of 'freedom and liberty', not that his meddling in the UK left much freedom and liberty here, quite the opposite really..... Hilarious Hilary Clinton adored him, think she had the 'hots' for him actually when she came over and couldnt take her eyes off him. Perhaps he'll get a much better pension than some of his ex voters will, after his big buddy Clown Brown taxed private pensions into the ground and destroyed them.
Would the Labour party be stronger under David? Yes I think so - but lets not forget who lost the last election, and David was a big part of that.... Oh well, who cares about lefty Liebour and the politics of ruin?

......... First you have to understand why the lack of liquid money.Money has been filtered out of all major currencies to tax havens to avoid taxes and hide stolen money or just hoarding by the rich.It has recently been reported that money hoarded by the richest 100 people would be enough to stop poverty.Just from the UK alone [ a prime example of selfish and greedy corruption ] trillions has been sifted away to tax havens.Eventually the economies are starved of money. These tax avoidance methods are rarely challenged by leaders because they are part of the people who use them so nor will they legislate. This leaves a shortage of currency in the system.Governments and their pay masters refuse to stop tax avoidance so revert to borrowing and taxing the poor to fill the hole usually convincing the people everything they do is for the people,s good. This greed and selfishness in power will not change and they will protect their wealth even with other peoples lives. For example the coalition in the UK under the disguise of reducing debt have introduced drastic cuts in front line vital services and pushed millions in to poverty while reducing taxes for the rich and refusing to legislate on tax avoidance and tax loopholes for the rich.Thousands of food shelters have opened to try and feed the poor while the rich award themselves massive pay rises to isolate themselves from price increases .These people live in an elitist bubble of greed and selfishness .NB.No cuts in obscene wages, no cuts in the numbers of MP,s or so called lords.
There is still ONE way left to save the world economies..The G20 should agree to print an extra 30% of their countries capital.Half must be used to reduce debt and the other half passed to pensioners and the poor [the consumers] and invested in renewable energy. The rest of the world economies should be encouraged to join in otherwise their own currency would inflate so much they would find it difficult to export in the resulting trade boom.If this is done in the same period there would be very little difference in exchange rates. At the same time banks and big business must be stopped from moving untaxed money to offshore accounts.Immigration must be restricted as this leads to severe strains on services.Tax loopholes must be closed,Obscene wages must be stopped.Money paid and profits made MUST be taxed in the same country. The results would be a massive drop in unemployment,an end to civil unrest, millions taken out of poverty, new business investment in the resulting trade boom ,interest rates could again be used to control inflation ,banks would be re capitalised etc.etc. This is a war on immoral corruption. This comment can not be cherry picked .I would be pleased to answer any questions on this comment by world leaders and economists.

David Davis has placed his total political destiny on the line via his determination to offer up his seat and place on the Shadow cabinet. I in simple terms desire extra politicians could be arranged to do an identical, commencing with the 39 Labour 'rebels'. There are too many sycophants who will slavishly persist with the party line no remember what their deepest suggestions may be. Many are extra inquisitive approximately keeping their Parliamentary seats, salaries, expenditures and existence than pay heed to their consciences. New Labour decrease than Gordon Brown could have lost the vote had it no longer been for the 'help' of the Ulster Unionists. No stress substitute into utilized and no inducements provided to them via Gordon Brown in the long hours he spent in discussions with them. all of us have faith that don't we?
