does anybody know of a virus that would affect Adobe and IE?.?

    Are you planning on infecting someone's computer with it? IE's problematic enough without viruses. Adobe's the name of a software company, are you going to infect the entire building? If you want to check for viruses or malware, do it properly with a full computer scan. Microsoft Security Essentials is a good option. It takes care of viruses AND malware AND emails all free of charge from the moment it's been installed. It even tells you if it's found a virus and tells you what it is... then it gives you the option to remove the problem. Much better than second guessing what you might have.
