    I prefer it for a boy but I'd spell ot Blaze. Blaze Michael has been one of my top boy names for awhile now :). I also like Blaise too, I'd use that spelling for a girl

    I like it on an adult. Blaise, like Blaise Pascal. It has class.

    But it sounds like the name of a boy who would get beat up all the time, or a girl who would get teased.

    No. It is indeed cool sounding but it just makes me think of a blaze as in a fire blaze. I don't have an opinion on what gender it would be better for.

    Yes for a girl. I have heard that name somewhere but cant remember where, maybe in literature.
