Fellow Christians with same-sex attractions, do you get depressed?

I often get really depressed in the knowledge that I'll never be able to be in a relationship. But not only that, those who are my fellow Christian brethren think I'm possessed (I'm celibate, non-practicing). It's not the abnormal desires that get me down, it's Christians saying, "Your love and feelings for each other are fake." So, am I the only one that gets depressed over one of the hardest temptations to resist? 'Cause I think it's cruel that God made us to love and because of this perversion, we can't. It's the zenith of cruelty.

You do have to ask why God does not make everyone's desire s and temptations the same?

Why would he create you this way, then claim that it is not right?

Could it be that what is being claimed by other Christians should be questioned?

If you are truly born again Christian, God gives you new desires. He does not give you desires for the same sex.

That does not mean you will not have temptations. But temptations and desires are not the same thing.

If you believe, then remember that your own bible says god created you in his image. You are as your god would have you. Your feelings are not fake, or less meaningful than mine, simply because you're gay, and I'm straight. Your sexual attraction is not a perversion - it's what you are.

Walk away from this religion. It's teaching you to hate yourself, and that is NEVER healthy.
