How can a gay Christian cure himself of homosexuality?

I don't mean to offend anyone, but you can imagine the hopelessness of knowing that you're hated by both groups. You're hated by the Christians for being gay, and you're hated by the LGBT community for being Christian. There's just no winning.

Homosexuality is NOT a sickness therefore no cure.

Your sexuality is worth far more than your Christianity.

Stay with your sexuality and ignore hateful religions.

Homosexuality is caused by an evil spirit/demon that enters a person and causes them to be attracted to people of the same sex.

I know it sounds far fetched since the belief in spirits is generally frowned upon but if you are a Christian and you believe that Jesus really cast demons out of people then you should be aware that there are still demons entering people and messing them up today.

People who claim to have been "born that way" are most probably those who inherit these spirits from parents or relatives in their bloodline - I've personally seen cases where kids are observed to have homosexual characteristics from a young age whose parent is also gay.

These demons also enter people through other means such as being raped by other men, exposure to hard core gay porn etc, that's why some people grow up straight and then suddenly turn gay.

If a homosexual is a Christian God will not judge him as long as he doesn't act on his homosexual desires. Such a person should also seek deliverance from the homosexual spirit

I once read an article about a man who was a transvestite and he had breasts implants and the works but when he got delivered he went and had all of it removed so that he could be a man again

There is hope for the Christian homosexual who looks to God for his deliverance!

i do no longer think of anybody ever incredibly believed it grow to be a probability to therapy gay human beings. this is a few thing Republican and Christian leaders reported for a protracted time as area of their software to inspire intolerance--and make no mistake, homophobia is a a hundred% political ingredient, no longer a non secular or religious ingredient. yet whilst challenged, they had bypass into opposite. faith is politically sensible because you could plant concepts in peoples' minds with out info in any respect. this is all approximately theory, no longer info or expertise. whilst a Christian chief is got here across to be gay himself (which happens with worrying frequency!) he has to bypass into opposite on the theory gayness is a ailment that is cured. in any different case he could have cured himself!

Why would the LGBT "community" hate anyone for being Christian? Why would a true Christian hate anyone? That's nonsense.

    LGBT don't hate all Christians.

Just the ones that deny them certain rights and freedoms.

Imagine hating an entire group simply because the actions of a vocal minority.

Being gay is an innate part of you. Being Christian is a belief in and adherence to a particular religious doctrine. You cannot rid yourself of your sexuality but you can dispose of the belief by reading books which look at it logically. The God Delusion is excellent for this purpose. If you are, in fact, correct in your belief that this god exists, the book will clearly not affect your belief as you will know better. If you are mistaken in your belief, the book will show you why.

He'd have an easier time curing himself of his Christianity; religion is not an innate or immutable trait.

The LGBT community doesn't hate Christians, and indeed it includes many Christians among its number; there are several pro-LGBT Christian denominations who think that the common translation of Paul is in error and who stand on the side of love.

when was homosexuality a disease? i didn't get the memo.

You're hated by the Christians for being gay. da fuq? "how about no."

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. (Romans 15:7)

For far too long, the church has been known as a place of judgment and condemnation. and sometimes i'm ashamed of these people by being so ignorant of the gospel, and frankly... for being douchebags.

You sound like you don't have a very strong sense of who you are.

How about stop listening to what everyone else thinks and spend some time getting to know yourself?

Many false assumption in your question.

    1. Homosexuality is not a disease. It is not "cured".

    2. Homosexuality is sin. Sin is always a choice.

    3. Only Jesus Christ can free a person from bondage to sin.

    4. If a homosexual continues to actively and continually be involved in sin, then they most likely have not truly repented of their sin, have not been born again and are not trusting in Jesus Christ.

    5. Christians do not hate homosexuals.
