Which is the best PTDE course in Texas?
I need to choose PTDE course for me to use to teach my daughter. I can find nothing on the web that ranks the courses or suggest which additional study materials are worth the cost. All I can find is one study comparing PTDEs to traditional Drivers Ed courses and material from the courses themselves.

As far as I know, many of the courses are going to be very similar. There are things that must be covered as required by DPS, so that's what most will have. Additionally, the material for you to use to teach your daughter (which is the driving portion, not the online portion necessarily) comes from a booklet that DPS provides, not the online course. Essentially, the online course gives the information that would be found in a driver's handbook along with illustrations and whatnot, and you'll give her the actual driving experience, following guidelines set forth by DPS along with whatever extra stuff you want to teach her. I know some people who have used texasdrivingschool.com and haven't had any complaints.
