Worth buying Grand Theft Auto V or Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4?
There is a lot of amazing games in 2013. But it's hard to chose to buy on the next-gen consoles. There is a rumor that Grand Theft Auto V will be on PlayStation 4. I love Grand Theft Auto series, even free roaming. But Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto V is the biggest GTA in GTA series yet. Huge map to free roaming! However, my favorite FPS series, Battlefield 4 was announced this year and releasing this year. When I saw the reveal trailer, it's was amazing!!! Graphic are awesome! So which game is worth buying on PlayStation 4. P.S. Please be specific.
@Cormick When you said "GTA 5 could totally bomb" what that exactly mean? And maybe Battlefield 4 wouldn't win GOTY, BioShock is the only FPS that won GOTY. And two GTA won GOTY, GTA SA and GTA IV.

(In Speculation) Right now the differences between the PS4 version of a game and the PS3 version of a game would be subtle. e.g ps3 is 720p, ps4 will be 1080p native. PS4 will have better graphics but probably not considerably better. PS4 might have more players online than PS3 can handle, e.g PS4 could go up to 64 player games while PS3 is stuck at 32 player. The developers might accommodate the PS4 version to match the PS3 version and so the differences won't be huge.
So in saying that, getting BF4 for PS4 might not be a big leap from the PS3 version and the PS3 version of the game would be cheaper too.
But I think you should get PS4 anyway because in the long run you're going to get way better games. The next GTA or Battlefield after these ones will properly use the PS4 hardware.

No one can really make a solid recommendation, since neither games have released a lot of details.
However, by playing GTA 4 and Battlefield 3 I think GTA 5 will be more likely to be great. GTA 4 had hours upon hours of missions, and was great fun overall. Battlefield 4 is more likely to be the same as its predecessor. Most shooters are like that.
I think GTA 5 will change a lot more, plus it's been in development for about 4 years. Battlefield 4 has only been in development for 2 years.
Overall, I can't make a solid recommendation. GTA 5 could totally bomb, and Battlefield 4 will be the best game of the year, or the other way around. No one will know until their releases.

Both of those games you mentioned above are on PS3 as well if you didn't know already? Plus the PS4 will be really expensive at launch I would hold off on it personally till there is a slim version

With the rumors of the PS4 and Durango being completely Cloud based and online twenty-four seven plus downloading the game on your hard-drive automatically so the disk is worthless, I'd make the smart choice and refuse to buy either system.

@ Dave Hytmen Sony confirmed a while ago that PS4 isn't going to have an always-online DRM function.
