New Poem What do You Think?

I love to share, and so please let me know what you think of my newest poem, a bit on the melancholy side, but very touching to me and I hope to you too.

Please star it if you like it, any and all criticism is greatly appreciated, even negative

The seasons pass from hot to cold

The bitter wind calls out your name

The days grow bleak and long and old

This lonely house is not the same

The window sobs as raindrops fall

In silent taps against the glass

The darkened grey, consuming all

When will the rain begin to pass?

I sit alone, in darkness lay

Without your warmth and loving smile

A thousand deaths I'd die each day

If just to hold you for awhile

Reaching forward, path unknown

I grasp at straws too thin to pry

And though my love for you has grown

My heart has withered, left to die

Update:

I suppose I can take out a few

Seasons...

The bitter wind

Days grow..

This lonely house

I can't take them all out though :o

    I love this

but you don't need the word "The"

seasons change from hot to cold

    bitter winds call my name

    days grow, bleak, long, old

lonely house, nothing is the same

    window sobs with falling rain

    do you get the idea?
