READ CAREFULLY! You canot use REGULAR engien oil in a VW/AUDi engine Get a MOTOR FLUSH and use ONLY GENUIEN EUROPEAN SPECIFCATION ENGINE OIL and NO valvoline EVER! Your engien has SDLUGE int eh THROTTLE BODY and in the IDLE AIR CONTOROL VALVE! on a VW engien, the THROTTLE BDOY sends signals to the TRANS computer, and a dirty IQACV adn T body will RUIN shifts, and also eventually clog up yoru CONVERTER! YOU NEED A GOOD CLEAN UP by someone that knows BW prodcuts BEST! ONLLY USE AMSOIL< mobil on e0W=-40 or PENNZOIL ULTRA EURO int here TOTAL energy oil ils fine as well. You have a REAL RACING ENGIEN THERE with HIGH TECH camashaft variable gearing that need ONLY SYNTHETIC OIL and nothing else. It MUST SAY SPEC N UIMBER 502/505 VA/AUDI right onthe oi llable. NOTHING ELSE! By now you MIGHT have a broken CRANKCASE VENT HOSE! I seasoned VW guy will KNOW THIS! It affecgts the AIR:FUEL mixture and this may be why you are having trouble <<<RELAIOZE> that the "GAS" pedal is really jsut the 'AIR" pedal The IACV adds MROOPRE air as requried by the O! senosr signals. ANd a VW CANNOT TAKE REG oil in america because it will eat up the ELECTRONICS built into the THROTTLE BODY< a $1000 PART! GOOD LUCK!!

If you press the gas does the engine rev? if so the transmission is getting worn, the best thing to do is have the filter replaced and not hurry it that will make it last longer but eventually it will fail and require a replacement or overhaul. If the engine fails to rev then look to the engine condition, tune up, throttle body, engine control system.
