97 honda accord chexk engine light help..?
So my check engine light is on...went to auto zone today after work and they did a code scan, nothing came up... no codes...is that bad? Any way to reset the check engine light..? I unplugged the battery... still

If the CEL is on and a scan indicates no codes and the CEL status should be OFF then either the wiring is damaged or the ECM is defective.

Auto Zone will pull the codes, however more commonly will not clear them. unplug battery and wait ten minutes.. or clear codes off with a diagnostic tool or ur ecm/cpu is bad.
