Multiple accounts between computers?

Hi, I have around 5 computers, all networked, but all with local accounts. At my workplace we can log on to any computer and our account is there. All of my PC's are running Windows 7 and I have a copy of Windows Server 2008 that I could install on one of them. How can I make it like my workplace?

You need to setup a domain, and add user accounts via active directory. This process is a little tedious and to add all the detail would take tons of typing, so I'll post the links for you.

    Create a DC Server: http://www.itserveronline.com/microsoft/promoting-...

Add users and computers to Active Directory: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd89446...

Yes, a domain is the way to go, although you don't actually need Active Directory to do this. One probable gotcha is that Home editions of Windows are unable to connect to a domain - you need either Professional or Ultimate versions.
