Fast idle only on a cold start. 2005 Toyota Matrix 1.8L VVTi engine.?
I have had the throttle body cleaned and replaced the intake manifold to head gasket. No luck. It starts right up and runs at 2200+/- rpms for a few minutes, before slowly idling down. Its my wife's car and I know she wont wait for it to slow and throws it in reverse at the high idle. OBD II shows no codes. Any suggestions would be helpful.
I slapped her around for a while and I will have a look at those items.. Thanks..

I suggest you not let her drive it until she gains a degree of self control over her impulsive and destructive behavior. While you have her constrained check the engine coolant temperature sensor and the idle air control valve.
