Why do I feel so uncomfortable around men that are in my family?
I'm comfortable around my sister's friends and boyfriend, but when it comes down to the men in my family (my step dad, my uncle, my aunt's boyfriend and my great uncle) I just feel really uncomfortable. I can't look my mom's step dad in the eyes and when i do, I feel like crying. I really don't like being alone with any male in my family, and I just really want to know why? As far as I know, I haven't been inappropriately touched by any of them either...

Maybe your instincts are telling you they are creepy pedophiles. Don't force yourself to be in uncomfortable situations with them. Talk to other younger girls in your family to see if they get a creepy/uncomfortable vibe from the men.
The bottom line is that you do not trust these men and you may not and do not need to know the reason for it. Trust your instincts. Perhaps in time you will trust them, but better safe than sorry.
