If a doctor from Mexico comes to America....?

Usually the best Dortors in the USA are from different countries and way way way more experience. People in undeveloped countries only go to the Doctor when they are really sick and their economical possibilities pushes Doctors to be more accurate in their diagnosis than american Doctors so they can affort it and be better asap. There are many factors playing here too. Inmune systems of poor people are stronger, the strenght of medicine in USA is very low dued to the sue happy personality of americans, etc etc. The reasons mexican Doctors are considered bad if for the lack of critical thinking of many people. In my experience. I consider a Doctor from Mexico a better Doctor than american. I only wish they had all the equipment the States' hospitals provide them with

A doctor's title is earned by receiving a PHD or MD degree.

Do you ask your professors in the university to show you their degrees before you use the title Doctor to them?

Of course it follows, the same for His/Her Majesty, Emperor, President, Prime Minister, Secretary, etc.

Well, in the U.S. optometrists are called Dr. and chiropractors are called Dr. and neither one of them has a doctoral degree.
