The prime directive in Nature is to survive, actually to survive long enough to at least have a chance at reproducing. Many life forms in Nature do exactly that. Most plants and many lower animals live just long enough to reproduce. Modern Man has changed his prime directive, we wish to live, we have lost the instinctive desire to reproduce, pass on our genes. That does not mean we have lost the desire for sex. This is what homosexuality represents, at least in part. A desire to be intimate without the burden of reproducing.
There is no known natural cause for homosexuality. It does not in any form produce a condition to which humans would evolve. Only characteristics and traits favorable to the survival of the species would be Incorporated in to human chromosomes. Why people cant understand this is beyond logic. Much like those that deny evolution, many will continue to deny the facts regarding sexuality. Who you choose to love, or hate, is just that a choice. We humans do not have a gene for hate or for love, these are things we learn.

Nature chooses a lot of people not to be part of the pool of those who will procreate ,the question is why should gay people be discriminated against because of it

A gay person can pro-create.. a gay couple can not produce a child who is biologically both of theirs. Same thing with adopted children; step children and some IVF children of straight couples.
