What type of battery do Soehnle bathroom scales use?
I'm receiving a Soehnle scale from a friend, but I want to buy the battery ahead of time.. does anyone know what kind of battery it uses?
Update:
My friend says that it takes a flat, round battery. Are there different kinds that I should be aware of?

I would wait until you get the scales.
My scales use a nine volt battery, but they could also use two double A .
OR
It could use one of the flat batteries similar to hearing aids...
