Is there a chance I have diabetes?
I'm a an obese 19 year old man. Diabetes runs in my family. Now for the past 2 weeks my mouth has been extremely dry, a lot more when I sleep. I keep hydrated and drink lots of water. However i'm still worried. Should I go see a doctor?

with a family history of endocrine diseases, YES! see the doctor at least once a year if not twice a year.
There are other endocrine diseases that cause overweight and thirst!! BE lab blood tested for all of them!

Just go. You have a family history. All they will need is to have you fasting and they will do a blood draw and possibly a pee test. Good luck

you can use genetic risk assessment scoring system that would help by calculating risk of diabetes putting some general details.
