I guess you can't see bruise marks on television because you certainly see them when you are there in the Arena. I see and hear the punches, the chops and the kicks, leaving aside the fact that the Wrestlers are stomping on the ring and that there are microphones under and around the ring to amplify the sound. For some reason, you can't see the bandages, the stitches, the bruises, the swelling and other indicators that I see. Maybe you need a better television?

There are severally couple ways:
The punch could be pulled. I have a friend in training who is particularly good at hitting his hand instead.
They are actually hitting the chest area. Sometimes, with elbows to the face, they are actually laying a forearm to the chest. Which, let me tell you, is actually painful, but not as painful as a punch to the face.
Also, they rarely ever lay anything into the eyes, it's mainly aimed at looking like they hit the forehead or the jaw.
Edit: Jim Crockett.etc, there aren't mics anywhere around or under the ring. The ring is actually just that loud. Seriously. You would be able to hear then talk otherwise. I don't even know where you got that terribly wrong but of information.

LOL, Chris Jericho had a HUGE black eye on RAW last week.
Sheamus often bruises easily. Also i think the baby oil that they rub on themselves can reduce the look of a bruise to make it look less prominent.

It's not a real punch. WWE and all other professional wrestling is scripted. For the most part, the wrestlers are friends in real-life. They're trained in how to throw a fake punch and make it look real.

Don't listen to people calling it fake, because it's anything but FAKE. It IS scripted though. Pro wrestlers hit with an open fist to avoid injury, but they DO hit. As you can see with Jericho's black eye, it isn't fake. It may look fake if somebody sells the move too quickly though.
Your answer: Open fist punches.

Because its more fake than a breast implant convention. Did anybody see that old has been wrester xpac tear his butt hole open in some rickety state fair ring? Now that was real pain.

WWE is a glorified fake fighting league.
It's a bunch of half naked man doing a very ugly ballet dance, with a lot grab and grind
- ?Lv 68 years ago
Well they hit very lightly to make it seem real.
If you wanna see real fighting no script watch UFC
