Are you guys getting tired of kids under 16 asking presumptuous, depraved questions?

The questions I see from people -16 absolutely horrify me. I remember seeing one about a 10-year-old girl saying that she sells her body to people in their 40's. Like... what the Hell is happening to the world? If any of you -16 people see this, please, for the love of all things pure, wait till you're of age (18 if you don't know). Don't fret, your love life isn't going anywhere. I just want to stop making memes about wanting to not live on this planet anymore. Anyway, why are all these depraved questions in the LGBT sec even when 80% of the people asking are straight?

Moreover, I'm 18 and I was never brought up like this. What happened? I remember when virginity was something people prided themselves on as a mark of self-control. Now, kids are being teased for still being a virgin at the age of 10! Can we reverse the damage?

Update:

@Reef. Preach it, brother!

Update 2:

@Michele. Yeah, you're right. Trolls usually ask questions in categories that can create a lot of controversy.

To be fair, it's not 18 everywhere in the world. It's 16 in the UK, and i believe it is as young as 12 in the vatican city. Other countries post on these forums too, so they do have a right to ask questions.

Sometimes though, i do agree that the questions are so pathetic that if they don't know the answer, they really shouldn't be having sex!

Also, straight couples can post here just as much as anyone else. Bisexual people still have "straight" sex, as do transgender. LGBT have to show respect and tolerance of straight relationships just as much as they have to show it to us.

I was 17 when i lost my virginity, but if the opportunity had presented itself earlier, i would have definitely taken it. It's all a matter of maturity I think, You can't just say that once everyone teenager hits the age of consent they suddenly become mature enough to have sex, life doesn't work that way.

However, all that being said, yes I agree, 10 is way to young to be having sex! A lot of people havent even started puberty by this point, and those who have started are still not developed enough to be having sex!

Society needs to realise that kids are finding out about sex much earlier than ever before, and need to educate them on the dangers of underage sex. Theres no point trying to put your fingers in your ears and pretend like they dont know, because they do. I knew about sex when i was about 8 - 9 years old, i heard about it on the playground in school. Parents have a responsiblity to try as best they can to dissuade kids from doing this.

Apologize for the lengh. I would like to allow any age to post, and tolerate the weird ones, because:

    1. 8-18 is probably the age when kids are having the most difficult time getting their questions answered and here they find a variety of perspectives, even if some come from trolls.

    2. One thing that happened is the Tea Party and radical Republican Religious party. FYI the tea party and evangelicals have 90% overlap.

They have killed off funding for the places young folks might go for answers and worse, have changed textbooks to completely delete any reference to abortion and birth control (Rick Santorum and others want to outlaw birth control -- against God's will and all. True, he's on TV now pushing the idea).

The Radical Religious Repubs have reduced food stamps, money for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) which provided among other things instruction to girls pregnant or who have a child, school lunch programs (often the only "meal" the kids had all day.)

I mention this because kids have very, very few places to ask questions that are intimate and anonymous. Relatives narc to their parents, if they even have parents. 1/3 of U.S. citizens live BELOW the poverty line. There are far more poor people in the US because real wages have declined 40% in the last decade. 1/3 of our citizens have income rated as "marginal", just barely making it but very close to poverty. The wall street collapse engineered by investment bankers (who's salaries are at an all time high; a Penthouse in NYC sold for $125 Million, a record, to an investment dude just last week). Meanwhile, the "Housing Bubble" (again Wall Street) caused many middle class folks to move into their cars.

So today's kids are in a worse place than I ever was. The Repubs position is that lgbt should just go somewhere and die, (Repubs don't have "messaging" for them.) Yet, gay boys sometimes become dads or get diseases (public health clinics? cut way back) and lesbians often get pregnant and diseases. There is almost nowhere for them to go for advice or even a sane person to talk to.

No I'm not claiming to be sane, mind you, and some of our answers are bad or just plain wrong. But many of our answers are pretty good, with useful information from people who have been there. There are some really bright people with great answers here.

I would rather let everyone ask questions and put up with the nuts and trolls than deprive people of one more place to get answers in difficult situations. I think that eventually even the questions from the straight folks often overlap with lgbtt issues (parental abuse, for example).

While I'm on my soapbox, and for this I apologize, in light of the above I have a habit I do that I highly recommend, though it's not my place to do so. Every couple of months I pack up everything I didn't use or I could do without and contribute it to to thrift/free stores who help the poor. NOT Salvation Army, who is radically anti-gay, or Father Joe enterprises, which is owned by the Salvation Army, and not St. Vincent, which is also owned by Salvation. I do not take the tax deduction; it's not the point.

Our veterans are coming back with almost no help, facing a 600 day wait (average) to APPLY for the Veteran's Benefits guaranteed when they signed up. There is no money in the family. And many of the military return with mental issues (which Repubs do not believe in) or of course injuries, wounds, etc that require extensive treatment. Family violence is rampant. The #1 cause of death for returning vets is suicide. So I personally donate to AmVets or a similar chararity.

I have to laugh at the innocence of your question. The Majority (98%) of American children live in the lower income brackets, as do the majority (99%) of American families. I don't know your circumstance, but unless you made a bunch, invested to avoid the wall street meltdown, and had great benefits, you will easily be in a similar situation. We used to use cheap overseas labor; now we "import" cheap labor and thinkers (a coalition of tech companies petitioned the Immigration svc to increase the number of immigrants with tech skills who could enter the U.S.. These people become programmers, web creators, technologists, engineers, scientists etc. The tech folks asked to "import" these people because they could not find enough Americans smart enough to understand today's technologies. Absolutely true -- it was 3 or 4 weeks ago. The petition and testimony is on line.

Try living for a month with no money. None. Your idea of depraved may change.

"getting tired of ---- depraved questions" Yes...

"getting tired of kids under 16" Age doesn't bother me.

Although I think those two often go together.

I think what we see here is a lot of trolling by special interest groups.
