No, this is not safe.
I cannot even imagine life with diabetes without a glucometer.I recently almost ran out of test strips. With so little info, My sugars were running my life rather than me.
Thank Goodness my daughter had extra strips to loan me.
Test often.

Maybe. You are running the risk that you'll have a low blood sugar and not know it; you're also running the risk that you'll need more insulin but not know it.
However, insulin's been used since the early 1920s and blood sugar meters were not used at home until the 1970s. And most diabetics survived a lot longer than five days.

Insulin is needed in different amounts based on the food you eat, your level of matabolization, the temperature, and the fluctuating wings of a butterfly half way around the world. Your blood sugar varies, you need different levels or at least different timing of injection. Taking the same doses you received in one set of circumstances might be close, but it won't be right. Get a glocose meter.
