Where to find a map showing the stars positions in the sky?

Hi community members,

Where do I find a map showing the stars positions in the sky? Laying in the green grass gazing @ the stars @ night only. I shell return what I think is the best answer & some twinkling stars. Have a good AM.

Update:

I am aware of java script having not been able to download=virus from cybercrime=FBI scam.

    You can view some online here:

    (you will need to enable java but be warned there was a recent article about java having some security issues).

    Or you can download one here:

    http://www.stellarium.org/

    You can also get some decent sky maps from google earth - just click on sky.

    Well, ..., download the free planetarium app Stellarium (www.stellarium.org), enter your position in it's location window, and it will simulate the sky for you.
