Craps betting which would you do and why?

Do you think it would be more profitable to buy the 4 and 10 for lay the 4 and 10. Which would be more profitable in the long run.

Buying a 4 or 10 gives the casino a 4.76% positive equity (advantage) against you.

Laying against a 4 or 10 only gives the house a 2.4% positive equity.

    Go with the lay bet.

    ----------

The least bad bets are the PASS (1.414%) and DON'T PASS (1.402%), and include the free odds bets (0.0%) if you can.

I also like to play the place bets on the six and eight (1.5%).

On a rare occasion I will make a FIELD bet but only if it pays triple on the 2 or the 12 (2.7%).

    ---------

If you play any of the proposition bets at the center of the table, you could save yourself a lot of trouble by staying home and mailing a check to the casino.

If you buy the 4 or 10, you expect to lose $1 for every $21 you wager.

If you lay the 4 or 10, you expect to lose $1 for every $41 you wager.

Betting on both just makes you lose twice as fast.
