Why are gays always so up in your face with it?

Isn't it all just a little bit over kill? Can you imagine what kind of bigot you would be called if you were to have a Heterosexual parade like the homosexuals have in Southern Decadence that's held in New Orleans everywhere. You can't even walk down the street without being sexually groped.

I support gay marriage. Not because I care about their happiness or financial reasons or whatever. I support it just so we can move on to REAL issues. I'm sorry, but two people of the same sex getting married is not an actual issue. Things like unwarranted drone strikes on US soil against US citizens, the virtual extinction of civil liberties due to things like the NDAA and Patriot Act, impending nuclear conflict.

There are more issues that Obama is refusing to address. Like the fact he wants to disarm us whenever he and his lackey Eric Holder just flooded Mexico with guns. Or how about illegal immigration. THESE are real issues. Not Bob and Mike's honey moon in the Philippines. Sorry. It's 2013 and we all get it, but maybe it's just not that important.

While I do not like the idea of gay marriage, I agree that there are more important things to deal with. So I say let them have it, even though there will be undesirable consequences.

I am old enough to remember the various strategic changes the homosexual community has gone through over the decades. Bottom line is, I am surprised that very many gays want to get married. Traditionally they were into promiscuity. Quite a change.

Having maintained apartment buildings in Southern California all during the 80s and 90s, I have had a lot of exposure to the gay community. Most I have found to be quite intelligent and very entertaining.

But yes, there are more important things to deal with so we should let them get married and the subject off our desk. I just don't know how to explain men kissing in public to the grandkids....... And I really don't want to see it myself. But I've seen worse.

I'm with you, I think. Give everybody the right to have civil unions under the law and give 'marriage' to the churches. And if the gays have a church marry them, fine.

What I believe the proper purpose of government is, is to create as much freedom as possible, for as many people as possible. And yes, that includes polygamy, polyandry, line marriages, etc. All those lifestyles are nonya's, as in none of my business and none of yours either.

Heterosexual parade, New Orleans, can't walk down the street without being groped.....

you never heard of Mardi Gras?

    Spring Break?

Please. The only "up in your face" part of it is the fact that you are terrified and freaked out by gays.

I have no issues with alternative lifestyles. But if gays and lesbians honestly think that the best way to rally support for their cause and gain support for same sex marriages is to have flaming fairies in drag dancing around with feather boas, high heels, and waiving rainbow flags while protesting in front of the Capital Building in Washington, then I'm not sure they're going to get the support they crave.

Most aren't "up in your face with it", and when they are its more of a statement than an actual need - there are gay pride parades in the same way as there is women's week, to celebrate the social progress made in society

Gay Marriage is not an issue, but Eric Holder is.

    Seems legit.

some do, some do not. purely like some gay women folk have that tough masculine look, mutually as others are as girly as they arrive. once you notice a muscular and rugged finding male, he can definitely be gay.

I'm for heterosexual rights. The liberals call me crazy. When everyone of them were created from heterosexual sex.
