Black widow spider outside my window??????
So a couple years ago this small/medium black spider with this yellow triangle hourglass on its back had a yellow spider nest or egg with it. The nest is still there today. Its small in the corner of my bedroom window. Even though I'm canadian, we do have black widow spiders here and want to know could this spider have been harm and what shall I do with the nest??

After a couple years, there won't be any live spiders about the nest. the eggs would have long since hatched, and whats lefe is just an abandoned web.
There is a chance this is a widow web, but sounds more like one of the garden orb weavers.
If there is no sign of spiders about, you can simply clean off any cobwebs.
Here is a widow nest in my bathroom(I let her stay like a pet)

At night the spider is usually hanging in their loose haphazard web:

The only time a widow may bite is blindly reaching into a web, or trapping the spider against the skin.
Knowing they are there and leaving them alone will prevent bites.
I wold doubt this is a widow nest, there are too many other harmless spiders this may have been.

Black widow spiders are very dangerous and with one bite can kill with a couple of seconds. Even though they are small they hurt and you will soon be on the floor dead, so the best thing to do is either leave it alone and let it do what it wants, it might go away once the baby is born and just don't open your window or you call an expert on spiders and see if he/ she can clear it. They are more dangerous than a camel spider ( they bite you, your paralysed and they eat your skin).

Black Widows have a big butt and they are very shiny. They have thick smooth legs and a Red hourglass under them, not a yellow one on top. Use a broom to get rid of the nest and if you see a black widow spray em with spray glue !
Don't go freaking out...just spray them with the glue and next day knock the web down. Once you spray them their not going anywhere except to the grave.

These spiders are very dangerous, if you don't want to be harmed, I suggest you try not to touch the nest as eggs could still be in it. Try and call an exterminator as soon as possible, and make sure you don't let them come inside.

Well there is a pretty simple solution to your problem. First of all DO NOT TOUCH IT! These spiders are very deadly and are among the deadliest in the world. Next call and exterminator to get rid of these guys know what they are doing, and they know how to handle it. After that see if that exterminator can get your house sprayed. Yep, that's about it.

Take your favorite pair of shoes and your favorite dairy product and run to your nearest gas station. Get a long flexible tube and attach it to the gas pump, then keep extending until you reach your home. Douse the framework of your house with the gasoline, and then run back to the gas station to go buy a lighter. Tape the notch down, and throw it into the house. Then turn around and slowly walk away. Don't look back (cool guys don't look at explosions). I hope this helps! Good luck :]

Black widows are one of the most dangerous spiders there are they can kill you with a matter of a few bites as they inject their poison into you I suggest calling an exterminator.

When I lived in Cal., I had about 3-4 of them in my garage. They kept their place, and I never bothered them. And they never came into the house. In fact, I would even say HI to them when I would come and go.

Fortunately, black widows aren't aggressive and only bite when felt threatened. I am an arachnophobe and I say spray it with some bug kill!
