Is it a good idea to take physics and calculus concurrently?

I'm tempted to take general physics and calculus I over the summer, to get ahead or whatever. General physics allows calculus to be taken concurrently (otherwise listed as a prerequisite). I'm wondering how intensive the calculus is in physics, and if it's a good idea to take this class simultaneously with the calculus. I'm assuming if it's an option it shouldn't be too hard?

    IMHO if calculus is allowed to be taken simultaneously with physics then that physics should have little or no calculus in it. {ie calculus BOTH differential and integral •must• be a PRErequisite for calculus based physics}. :>}
