Light in the sky, was it a meteor?

Last night I saw a light in the sky. It looked almost like a firework but it went across the entire sky. I was looking to see if there were suppose to be a meteor shower, but I couldn't find anything. I saw it on April 3rd at 8:25pm mountain time. It was lit up and had a small tracer and it went across the entire sky, did anyone else see it or know what it was?

If it crossed the entire sky, it was probably not a meteor.

It may have been a piece of space junk.

I'm unsure what you mean by a tracer.

Do you mean a glowing tail ?? --- if o space junk is likely. which means people in the direction it was headed would likely see it break up.

Check this site for other reports of sightings. :

You may have to wait a day or 2 for reports to be posted.

It was something that came from space, that's all you know. *waves hands in front of your eyes*

Just kidding, it was either space junk or a meteor.
