How do so many people in America abuse Food Stamps?

That's what the tea party was all about. The government is so bloated, and full of useless unionized paper pushers, they keep their jobs no matter how incompetent they are. Why should they care about all the abuse going on when they have a big paycheck every week? It would require them to actually earn their money, do some follow-up and verify the applications more closely. When the gov. gets as big as it is now, so much money gets doled out with no care.

Millions of dollars are even going to Mexico, they aren't even pretending to be citizens. I don't mind helping people who really need it, but I'm sick and tired of paying out taxes just because some people lie and game the system They might have needed them at one time, and then get used to free food money. It makes some people expect more.

I heard today:Concerning money spent (supposedly) for Katrina victims during the disaster, the hurricane. They can't account for 70 million dollars!!! There is 70 million dollars that HUD can't explain or account for, No one knows where the money went or who got it, what it was spent on or anything?? The bigger the left grows government, the more friendly hand outs that go on behind the scenes. I know all about taxes and it makes me sick!!

The government doesn't want to crack down on welfare abuse because they want more people to be dependent on the system. The more people on welfare, the more stagnant the economy gets, the more government gets to expand. It's all about control and someone else pays for their lifestyle, although welfare was never meant to be a permanent thing it is now for millions. This is VERY BAD too, because at a certain point a country becomes a "welfare state" if too many people are on it then the economy goes bust. That's the problem with welfare, most of the people on it now don't really need it, but they get "freebies" plus they will vote for whoever gives them their "freebies".

Calm down and take a breather. Don't be so judgmental. A lot of there expensive clothes are knock offs and geez just because they need help with food they are supposed to be wearing tattered clothes and look homeless? And I highly doubt you seen someone with a bunch an if you did then yea that's pretty low of them. But damn when I'm at the store I'm minding my own business not looking over everyone's shoulder seeing how they are paying. I'd be rude to u too if you had your head up my *** while I'm paying. Rich people are rude too. Some of them do take advantage but some of them really need it and you better hope nothing drastic happens to you or your income to where you might need that help one day. You know being so angry at the world is sucha ugly trait. Yea the worlds ****** up deal with it

And if your a cashier I would really hate for your employer to see this post and fire you for posting such judgemental comments about your customers. Your in college good for you until you graduate and realize your high paid tuition gets you nowhere in the job market with this economy. The unemployment rate is still high in a lot of states education or not. Look at the statistics. And look at you calling people responding to your question idiots... That's sad, sounds like you have a lot more going on then being pissed about foodstamps dude.
