Is the use of cross as Christian symbol justified....see details?
In Hinduism which is known for making idols we make idol of Shri Krishna standing with flute or with Radha, same for every God form, we don't make Idols of Shri Krishna with arrow in his feet (the way he died) or idol of Shri Rama drowning in water etc.
Now my question is why Christians use that depressing cross as their symbol? Why not Jesus standing tall or something like that?
Further note that cross is not a good thing in exams we get cross on answers that are wrong, comparatively tick is better.

Jesus was the ultimate symbol of humbleness. Someone who was with God descending to the level of man to save our sorry souls. When Jesus died on the cross, it marked the new testament made with God that anyone who believed in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. The cross is not even necessary for our worship, but it reminds us always of the sacrifice. In that sense, I believe the cross is more than justified to represent Christianity.

I "use" an empty cross to symbolize that Jesus defeated death by His resurrection. I worship God because he left the cross.

Its a good symbol. Dying for people. He was crucified by his own people. No one is yours. You are for them. You are for society. In Hinduism also body has no importance. But soul has.
It is up to you how to take meaning. Body has no meaning. It is perishable.
The spirit with in is the TRUTH.

Christianity stole their entire "faith" from several ancient traditions, there is nothing new there at all.
