Are you for or against HR 684 (The Marketplace Fairness Act)?

What is fair about making it mandatory for retailers to collect taxes for out-of-state purchases? In my opinion this will only increase the cost of goods for the buyer... and increase the cost of doing business for the seller. People will end up buying more from China where they are not required to collect taxes. Taxing internet sales is a HORRIBLE idea!

    My state doesn't have a sales tax. So it doesn't matter to me one way or the other.

    If you don't want to pay a sales tax, start an initiative referendum and repeal your states sales tax laws.
