Stargate Atlantis will be continued, need little help maybe.?

Hi all. After watching all seasons & episodes of SG-1, SGA and a little bit of SGU, which truly almost nobody likes I decided to invent continuation of Stagate Atlantis on my own, because I think SGA needs to be continued. Idea is there, plot is there and funny too, the only thing i need is someone like Brad Wright etc. who will produce it and direct it. I need contacts!

Who is with me?

Ps. Wraith? Stop, please. U are not invited.

Err, SGA is already being continued in novels. The series is called "Stargate Atlantis: Legacy" and starts with "Homecoming".

They also did have a movie planned that got cancelled after SGU's failure (and due to the bad market and MGM's bankruptcy), along with the third SG-1 movie...

As for contacts, have you tried MGM itself? They still hold the rights to the franchise, I think.

And, as much as it hurts to say it, you do not really need to find a producer/director, you need funding. As long as no one is willing to invest in new Stargate material (SGA or otherwise) there is no chance that it will see the light of day on film.

So, the interest/support of potential makers may help, but without any financial back-up (like (partial) crowd-funding) it will be very difficult to even interest people in a series that has been gone for several years, for which ratings had already declined, and that had an unsuccessful follower.

Also, you need to get at least some of the actors back on board which may be difficult, too.

    The sets are also gone...

He might be able (and willing) to give you a few tips on how to address this further.

Source(s): I wish there was new Stargate stuff in the making but it looks doubtful that we'll get anything in the next couple of years. There might be a reboot at some time...
