Is it my imagination or are the sugar maples extra "sappy" this year?
On several occasions over the past couple of months I have parked under a maple tree and each time my car was covered in sticky sap! I don't ever remember it being this bad before and I have lived in this house for 35 years. I live in west Michigan.

In Michigan? I dunno about the sappiness, but I recall Mitt Romney saying the trees were the "right height" there, so I guess that means high enough to park under them, eh? :)
This is the time when the sap flows faster. Good thing it's water-soluble.
