Helio Gracie took techniques from Judo that used leverage as it's main focus instead of base. Apparently, it's because of his physical condition at the time making strength based techniques harder for him. I haven't studied Brazilian Jujitsu so I wouldn't know which techniques are present but I am studying Judo and there are techniques that require more physical strength than others.
- Hope I could help!

A lot techniques that aren't as focused on is primarily the stand up grappling like throws and takedowns. Techniques from a clinch usually require the most amount of strength which is why people are told never to clinch against a much larger opponent.
