How to find the height of trapezium with side length 4?
On my homework there is a question with an octagon that has been trisected at one of the corners. Now the octagon has been trisected into two trapeziums and a kite in the middle. All side lengths of the octagon are 4. I need to find the height of the trapezium but I have no idea how to! I think it involves a right angled triangle and Pythagoras.

You may find it easier to compute the leg lengths of a 45-45-90 triangle with hypotenuse 4. Is it clear how that idea helps?
