Can you help me brainstorm for a poem about New Mexico?

I have lived here for 7 months but don't really feel like I know enough to just write a lot.

    I lived there for 21 years, and will soon be going back again.

    You could write about the pueblos, the Rio Grande valley (and/or the river itself), the Sangre de Cristo mountains, ski valleys, Albuquerque Balloon Festival, State Fair, specific cities, the so called "Taos hum", archaeological sites (e.g. Clovis man), and much much more.

    There are ancient spiritual places there and the stars are brilliant in the spring
