What does Bridged @ 4 ohm: 500 watts x 1 channel mean?
I am trying to buy an amp and sup combo and the amp specs say Bridged @ 4 ohm: 500 watts x 1 channel. Does this mean if I bridge it I will get 500 watts. And I don't know much about this stuff.
This is what I am looking at

That link isn't working.
Regardless, you're correct. That amplifier claims to put out 500 watts x 1 channel when both the left channel and right channel are bridged together, effectively turning them into one channel, on a 4 ohm load.
One thing I'd like to mention, though, is I see "Boss" in the link address you posted. Just heed this warning...
They're unreliable, don't last long, and don't put out anywhere near their rated output. This is just an extreme example, but here's a pic of their "3600 watt" mono amp compared to Sundown Audio's 3500 watt amp. Boss rates their amp at 1,850 watts RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms. Sundown rates theirs at 1,750 watts RMS @ 2 ohms.
Which one do you think is more believable?

If you connect both of the stereo output channels together, mixed to mono, the output will add up to 500 watts- that's bridging.
