    Find the slope first.

    m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

    m = (18 - 16)/(9 - 8)

    m = 2 / 1 = 2

    Use one of the points and the slope for the point-slope formula. (I'll use (8,16). You can use either one.)

    y - y1 = m(x - x1)

    y - 16 = 2(x - 8)

    y - 16 = 2x - 16

    y = 2x

    m = (16 - 18)/(8 - 9) = -2/-1 = 2

    Likewise, m = (18 - 16)/(9 - 8) = 2

    y - 16 = 2(x - 8)

    y - 16 = 2x - 16

    y = 2x

    Likewise,

    y - 18 = 2(x - 9)

    y - 18 = 2x - 18

    y = 2x
