I think the last h should be under everything, not hust the final f(x)

    [f(x + h) - f(x)] / h

    [3(x+h)^2 + 3x^2] / h

    [3(x^2 + 2xh + h^2) - 3x^2] / h

    [3x^2 + 6xh + h^2 - 3x^2] / h

    h(6x+h) / h

    6x+h

Next step, take the limit as h approaches zero

    6x

    f(x+h)=3(x+h)^2,f(x)=3x^2.

    So, [f(x+h)-f(x)]/h=[3(x+h)^2-3x^2]/h=3(h^2+2xh)/h=

    3h+6x. Ans.

    (3(x+h)^2-3x^2/h

    3(x^2+2xh+h^2)-3x^2/h

    6xh+h^2/h

    6x+h
