Is there a DJing school I have to attend?
I'm a teen and I'm thinking of carriers. I want to be a DJ but I don't know how to start an if there is a school I have to go to? I have no experience with mixing music but I LOVE music and dub step and remixes. Could someone help with this?

Hello Alexandria! If you really want to have a proper training on DJing, here are my TOP 3 picks:
#1 - Dubspot: Based in Manhattan, New York, Dubspot is one of the top DJ schools that offer a wide variety of courses enabling everyone interested in music to find their own fit.
#2 - Full Sail University (FSU): Located in Winter Park, Florida, FSU has helped students attain careers in music, acting, gaming, and graphics designing industries for more than 30 years.
#3 - Scratch DJ Academy: Located East Village in Manhattan, New York. Its main goal was to lower the requirements of entering the DJ profession.
Friendly tip: DO NOT be afraid to experiment. Invest in quality music that you can play with. I usually get mine from zipDJ. They just got the most extensive catalog and music genre to choose from. Here's the link: http://www.zipdj.com/ if you are interested

So, do you want to play other peoples music out to a crowd at a party/club, or make music.
If you want to be a DJ (as I was for 20 years), then you wil need lots of good quality music, I would suggest MP3 at 320kbps. All nicely tagged too. Maybe a Mac book and something like Serato to put on the Mac to play it.
If you are wanting to mix, the best advice I can give for this, is to learn to mix 2 copies of the same track together, reason for this, because they will be exactly the same speed.
If you are using decks, go for Pioneer CDJ's, 800's or higher.
Good luck, and remember to always smile :-)

You can if you want to, but most DJ's learn the basics on their own.
Download fruityloops studio demo, which is used all the time to make music.
It's very difficult to use tho, so have patiente.
