    i use t for theta

    y=rcos(t)

    x=rsin(t)

    put those in when you changing from cartesian to polar

    4[rcos(t)]^2=rsin(t)

    4r^2[cos(t)]^2=rsin(t)

    4r[cos(t)]^2=sin(t)
