I'm trying to get a Minecraft Bukkit server with mods?
I already have the Bukkit server installed and working. I'm using Minecraft 1.5.1 and my friends can also join the server.
My question is more about getting the mods. As of yet, I haven't found any mods that I really want from the server side mod section of the Bukkit website (mainly because I haven't looked that well as I have a specific mod or two that I have in mind).
Anyway, I REALLY want BuildCraft. If I can only get one this is the one I want. If I CAN get more than just BuildCraft, I also want to have IndustrialCraft too, if they are compatible. I have Minecraft Forge installed and all that but I really want it to be a server wide thing without having to get my friends to download anything at all. I've noticed something called Minecraft Port Central and if I understood this correctly then it seems that this is able to get mods server-side instead of just client-side but it's still confusing to me at the moment. Did I read this correctly? If so, how would I go about doing this?
If this is possible I would also really appreciate some small tutorial on how to do this, or a link to one. But mainly just the beginning part.
Thanks everyone!

buildcraft and industrial craft don't work like that since they are mods therefore client-side so everyone needs to download the mod to play on the server .
plugins (aren't mods) are made for servers so they don't need people to download anything

To be honest I would just download "Feed the beast" it has premade packs of mods including industrialcraft, get your friends to download it, it takes 2 mins. All of you just need to select the same "pack" of mods when you launch it and it will automatically download and install everything, then you just run the server associated with that pack and you can all play together. Way easier than having to do everythng manually and your friends cannot play buildcratf and etc if they dont download the pack because their computer won't have any of the graphics for the items on it or anything.

Get all your friends to download the .exe client and run it. I'd recommend the Yogcraft pack when you launch it, it#'s what the yogscast use on youtube.
When YOU launch it make sure you click to download a server for that pack aswell, they it's all like normal minecraft except all of the cool added stuff.

If you happen to type into google "minecraft mods" there are plenty of web sites that folks put they're custom mods. They ordinarily tell you how too set up them. Quite often you go to the .Minecraft folder, then into the bin folder, then open up the minecraft jar with winRAR and insert the records inside the mod. Ultimately delete the META-INT folder. Then shut the entire lot and cargo minecraft.
