My girlfriend cuts herself....need help?

Ok im 14 iv been with my girlfriend for 7 months nearly 8 months and shes 14 too,shes going through alot her step dad use to beat her she never sees her mam anymore only lives with her dad she has alot going on and i was with her the other day and i saw scars on her armnd i asked what were they and she said it was her cat... i no its a lie but i was afraid to say anything so i just left it but i dont know what to do or think of it , i cant stop thinking about it, I really love her and it wont get off my mind should i say it to her or what should i do ?????

this made me tear up :'( you should try telling someone else maybe another relative? or even one of her closest friends? you shouldnt have to deal with it on your own x

Whoever said contact the police is dumb what the hell are they going to do about it when they show up an hour late. 

Cutting yourself releases endorphins. They are your bodies natural morphine it produces. So essentially, your girlfriend has an addiction so treat it like any other addiction. Or get her kratom tea. That helps many for that

Okay don't worry - if it gets serious contact the police or childline (08001111 ) its free!  She might need to talk so help tell her that she is putting her self in misery 

Don't dwell on the past focus on the present. And think what fun she's going to have in the future x

If you have anyway to contact the mom do it if not just go to the schools social worker and ask if she can help with the situacion... If nothing is done she could actually kill herself... Just dont tell her dad cuz it can make it worse...
