Second, knives have other uses and are rarely used to kill. Guns only have the purpose of killing, (Even target shooting is so you can get better at killing.)

I'm sure if thousands of people were killed every year from pencils or exacto knives, there would be a law. 8 children die everyday due to gun violence, along with 75 adults.

And by the way, most states and communities do have laws restricting carrying, sale, and use of knives. Funny how you gun nuts dont' seem to know that.

The Constitution does NOT guarantee the right to buy or sell arms, only keep and bear them. What I cannot fathom is why you want to make it easier for criminals and others to get guns.

The wording of the Constitution says there is a right to bear "arms' which is usually thought to mean guns, but I suppose you could arm someone with a knife or even a lead pipe or baseball bat. Many home stabbings occur with regular kitchen knives. I do not think any bills will be forthcoming because there may be nothing done about guns either. Support is waning.
